Tim Luukkonen of San Antonio, Texas - I've known Jack since our time together in the military. He's always been someone I can count on and stood up for what he believed in. I have always known Jack to be dependable and honest. Even if we didn't see eye to eye on some subjects we still maintained mutual respect and valued one another's ideas.

Hilary of San Antonio, Texas - I was in Jack's platoon, he's a great guy, thinks things through, and truly cares. He took on the tough job of going out on convoys with Infantry patrols. Jack was our designated story teller. He kept everyone's spirits up when dealing with bureaucracy, deployments, long guard shifts, and terrible Fort Drum weather, and often hosted the whole platoon at his place off base. Of course, his attempt to grow flowers in Iraq failed, and there was that unfortunate incident with that water bottle. Okay, I can think of at least two unfortunate incidents with a water bottle. But no one's perfect!

I know more of him through my son who served in the Army with Jack and was deployed with him to a combat unit in Iraq. Everything I have heard through my son and read in Jack's information tells me in my heart that Jack is exactly the type person needed in Washington DC.

The thing that sets Jack Arnold apart from all the other politicians out there is his true love of this country. Most people say they love this country, but Jack Arnold left a fairly comfortable life to serve his country in a time of war! How many current politicians can say the same?
